Saturday May 7th was the Ontario Hockey League priority selection draft. Over the past few years, Burlington hockey players have not been strong going into the draft, with zero players selected in 2010.
2011 was going to be strong draft year from Burlington AAA hockey players. Stephen Harper has proven that hard work plus dedication to your dream can prove succesful. Harper was was picked at 9:55 am Saturday morning, being the 12th over all pick by the Erie Otters.

Harper has taken an active role in his health by prepping for combines and tournaments over the past year. Working with practitioners at DT&R and CHPC, follow a strict athletic diet, intense workouts 3-4 days per week, and recieving Massage Therapy and Acupuncture on a bi-weekly basis to be healthy and strong through one of the most important year's of his life.
